The Association of Intelligent Manufacturing of Zhuhai (The Association) held the 2nd members' assembly on January 16th. During the party, the Association signed the cooperation agreement with Guangdong Institute of Ocean Engineering Equipment & Technology (GIOEET), Guangdong Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing (GIIM) and China Everbright Bank (Zhuhai Branch), aiming to promote the high-quality development of the intelligent manufacturing industry in Zhuhai.
The Association was established in April 2017. Some leading local enterprises like China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co., Ltd., Gree Intelligent Equipment, Sany Group etc. are the member units. The Association serves as a communication bridge to promote the transformation of traditional to intelligent manufacturing industry, contributing to the improvement of core competitiveness and the development of the real economy of Zhuhai.
GIOEET is a new research and development centre, built by the Guangdong Academy of Science (GAS) and government of Zhuhai jointly. The institute focuses on the studies of smart marine equipment, key system etc., striving to enhance the innovation ability of Zhuhai marine equipment industry.
GIIM is one of the 18 critical scientific research institutes of GAS, focusing on the national and provincial economic and social development strategies and industrial development needs. The centre helps carry out fundamental research on equipment intelligence and intelligent factories and common industrial technologies, and to provide scientific and technological services for the development of local industries.
