The Summary & Commendation Meeting of Enterprises Association of Xianghzou District (The Association) was held on January 13th. Since establishment, the members of the Association has increased from 100 to nearly 200. Among them, 70 new members joined in 2017. The Association has delivered a fruitful performance in boosting the transformation and upgrading of SMEs, communicating with the government, promoting economic and trade exchanges, participating in social welfare undertakings etc.
The member enterprises of the Association mainly from construction, manufacturing, commerce and services industries. The total economic value of the Association reached nearly 2 billion yuan. Over the past two years, member enterprises have provided more than 30 thousand employments, donated more than 2 million yuan and helped over 5 thousand poor people.
The Association also actively organised more than ten related business activities, such as high-level training, summit and conference, special seminars etc., aiming to help SMEs to solve the various unfavourable factors and problems encountered in their economic restructuring and development.
